Leash Walking Tools
In addition to training, these tools can help you gain control while training your dog to walk politely in a positive safe manner. While the amount of time it takes to teach a dog to walk nicely varies, these tools are meant to be used short term and only during a walk.

No-Pull Harness
I use and recommend the 2-Hounds Freedom Harness to create a safer walk for a heavy puller.
I have demo products to try out to help you decide what is best for you and your dog.

"CONNECTION"
I have discovered my love for biothane leashes with Ulti-Mutt. They are odor/stain free, super easy to clean and they are very durable. Best of all, they are affordable and the company offers custom orders! I have and use the below pictured from Ulti-mutt.

Treats
I could probably write a whole page on the variety of brands/flavors of treats I use. Instead I will tell you the secret about treats...
1. It doesn't matter what you use as long as your dog likes them!
2. Change it up often. Your dog will be bored of the same ones and offering a large variety can make a huge difference!
3. Know the difference in value, to your dog! From a crunchy biscuit to dehydrated lamb lung, every dog values treats a little differently.
I am a big advocate for supporting local and small businesses. So instead of posting a list of treats, I will invite you to visit Benson's Pet Center (Rotterdam & Wolf Rd locations only). They have cards with my logo on the shelf below the treats that I buy and use in both training and with my own dog.

Fig & Tyler is a small business I highly recommend for high quality, human grade treats. They have a great back story and are very passionate about what they do.
Puzzle Toys
I use and highly recommend supplying your dog with a variety of puzzle toys to help satisfy his/her need for mental stimulation. Dogs that are destructive or difficult to manage benefit greatly from puzzle toys in addition to training and regular exercise. Although there are hundreds of wonderful puzzle toys I could recommend, here are just a few.
